Dima Maroun
Environmental Advisor

Dima Maroun graduated from Syracuse University in NY on May 2000 with a BSc in Environmental Sciences with a Concentration in Policy and Management. She is currently completing a degree Environmental Management with SOAS University of London. She has also received her ISO 14001: 2015 Lead Auditor Certification in October 2018 from BSI Institute in the UAE.

After graduation Dima worked with several prominent Engineering Consultants in Jordan. After her move to the UAE in 2012 she continued to work on a Freelance basis with several entities.

Ms Maroun has over 10 years experience in the areas of environmental impact assessment, environmental management planning and implementation. She has acted as a Project Manager and Technical coordinator, and as an individual technical specialist in environmental monitoring for both private and government sector clients. She has worked in teams to prepare a wide range of environmental documents including but not limited to EIAs, Scoping Reports, Construction Environmental Guidelines all in line with government and international lender requirement. She has experience in Environmental Auditing of Construction sites in line with ISO 14001. She has liaised with key governmental ministries, local authorities and other project stakeholders internationally, as well as with international funding agencies.
